Sankey Petite

The Sankey Petite is designed to accommodate the needs of the short backed warmblood, galloway or pony with a generous panel and wide channel allowing maximum spine freedom.  Built on a laminated beechwood spring tree which gives to the horse’s movement, the Petite is able to be adjusted by an approved saddler or saddle fitter both through the tree width and with flocking to allow for changes in your horse’s topline.

Pure British lambswool ensures an optimum fiber to mould to the shape of your horse and quality leather to last.  For the rider, a narrow twist, supportive seat and close contact feel. The monoflap improves communication of the aids with the horse.

Flap length is conservative, again to maximise the connection with the horse.  Knee blocks are available in long and short to ensure an option for different femur lengths and pelvic considerations to discuss and try with your saddle fitter.

Accommodating a range of horse shapes the girth configuration is point and sliding web as standard with a webbing attachment available off point that can be easily accessed by your fitter/saddler for different fit requirements.
