Qualified Saddle Fitter
Kathryn Sullivan-Butt from The Saddlefitter has over 25 years experience in saddle fitting. Having spent decades coaching and a lifetime in the professional horse industry, Kathryn brings a wealth of knowledge to the “art and science” of saddle fitting.
Kathryn has extensive training and experience with scientifically based saddle fitting qualifications and training from Europe, the US, the UK and Australia.

The Saddlefitter understands the importance of supplying and fitting saddles that optimise the bio-mechanics, comfort, and performance of both horse and rider.
The greater the depth of knowledge, the greater the recognition that “no one brand” will suit every horse and rider. To ensure that our clients do not compromise on fit and style The Saddlefitter works with several world leading saddle companies, holding in stock a vast range with over 250 quality saddles from our selected saddle leaders. As a result, most often we will have the saddle you need in stock, with your specific requirements available immediately.
If you have more unique needs and a more relaxed timeline, we work with our Master saddlers in England and Europe to craft a bespoke model created just for you on a priority timeline.

Saddle Accessories
The Saddlefitter understands that purchasing a new saddle is an important investment. Kathryn provides a dedicated one-on-one service to ensure you purchase the optimum make and model.
The correct girth, stirrups, saddle pads and associated saddle strapping can make a significant difference to the fit of your saddle and comfort of the horse and rider. The Saddlefitter holds a vast selection of saddle accessories to enhance the comfort for your horse; these include girths, saddle cloths and pads, stirrups, bridles, martingales, monkey grips and premium leather care.
These can be purchased during a fitting or from our Online Store. If you have any specific requests please let us know when booking your fitting.
